Shearing & Braking

Arctech currently has 2 operational brakes in Fort St John. 1 brake has the capacity of 250 tonnes and has a bed length of 12ft. It is capable of bending ½” mild steel plate at 90 degrees in an 8ft length. The second has a capacity of 175 tonnes with a 12ft bed and is capable of bending 10 gauge mild steel sheets at 90 degrees in a 10ft length.

In addition, Arctech also has 2 shears to complement our braking operations. Our large shear is capable of cutting ½” mild steel plate at a length of 8ft. The smaller shear is capable of cutting 3/16” mild steel plate at a length of 10ft.

 
 

Equipment Attachments

 

Arctech’s operations include the fabrication of equipment attachments and repairs. Arctech can design and fabricate from the “ground up” Dig Buckets, V-Buckets, Rippers, Brush Rakes, Chuck Blades, Snow Plough Blades and grapples for loaders using our CAD based programming and 3D modeling. If the lugging on your attachments needs replacing, Arctech can restore your equipment to its original state with new luggings cut directly from our computerized flame table.

Our extremely short delivery times are very attractive to our clients. In general, we can have a bucket ready to be shipped within approximately 2 weeks and our ripper attachments in as short as 4 days.

 

Decks & Truck Bodies

Arctech can design and fabricate custom truck decks and bodies to your specifications. In the past, we have fabricated Service Decks, Picker Decks, Rig Tender Decks and General Truck Decks. We also carry some standard designs that may appeal to you.
